If you’re a big Toyota fan, you already know that Toyota plans to release an updated version of the 2019 Toyota Prius. This new Toyota car is expected to debut later this month at the LA Auto Show.

However, the new model may offer more than just extra tech features or different styling options. Many Toyota news outlets are speculating that the upgraded 2019 Toyota Prius hybrid may be an all-wheel drive vehicle. This idea comes from a Toyota press release that was posted earlier this week, which stated “Fall is here, winter is near, but the 2019 Toyota Prius performs on roads whether snowy or clear.”

Considering Toyota already makes an AWD Toyota Prius in Japan, it isn’t unlikely that the same drivetrain will be coming to the US. If the rumors are true, an all-wheel drive Toyota Prius will be great for drivers here in Avenel, NJ this coming winter. AWD vehicles boast better handling and aerodynamics than front-wheel drive models, which is the 2019 Toyota Prius’ current configuration.

The Toyota Prius is one of the brands most popular hybrid vehicles. At Sansone Toyota, we are proud to present the drivers of Avenel, NJ with the updated 2019 Toyota Prius version as soon as it arrives!

While it’s not yet confirmed whether this new Toyota car really will be an all-wheel drive vehicle, any changes that can help drivers stay safe in the snow will be a breakthrough – especially for those here in New Jersey.
