The long-awaited 2019 Xfinity Supra is back and on track, literally. There’s nothing better than seeing Toyota cars hit the racing track, and this is especially true for the Toyota Supra, which hasn’t seen a race since 2002. It will be a part of the Toyota NASCAR Xfinity series and is rumored to debut sometime between February and April of 2019. The 2019 Xfinity Series Supra was added to the racing video game Gran Turismo Sport earlier this year, and gives some playable insight about the look, speed, and handling of the car.

The new Toyota Supra will be replacing the Toyota Camry in NASCAR’s minor league Xfinity series. The Toyota Camry had been on the track since 2007, and in its time accumulated an amazing 142 wins. Hopefully, the Xfinity Supra will prove to be even more successful. Toyota has stated that it will, however, be keeping the new Camry for the 2019 Monster Energy Series.

2019 Supra Xfinity Series Specs

The new Supra engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine. It is expected to achieve up to 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. The body features a completely new design to its processors with sharp red and black detailing as well as an updated headlight and front bumper design. You could say the 2019 Supra definitely looks “meaner.” This new shape isn’t made just to intimidate the competition, as it also improves the aerodynamics of the car.

The 2019 NASCAR Supra gets its number “90” from the fact that it uses an A90 development code. This is an exciting update to the Toyota Supra model’s previous A60, A70, and A80 coding. Without a doubt, the Xfinity Supra is packed with new and exciting technology.
